The Golden Age Team regularly visits the four Fenland @ your service shops or hubs to give advice and information. You can undertake a free benefits check with the ‘Fenland Ferret’ and as well as a free blood pressure check – so please come along and see us!
What is the Fenland Ferret?
The Fenland Ferret isn’t a furry creature with sharp teeth! It is a computer programme that ferrets out unclaimed benefits.
Annually, there are billions of pounds of unclaimed benefit. Since Golden age has been running, the Fenland Ferret has found approximately £800,000 amount of unclaimed benefit. In this year alone, £18,000 has been found. Think what a difference £20 p/w of unclaimed benefit could make to you – that’s £1,000 a year.
