We think that if you know the signs of exploitation, the more likely you are to be able to spot someone who is at risk and therefore more likely to help them by reporting suspicions. To report suspicious behaviour you can call your local police on 101 or call 999 in an emergency. You can also make an anonymous call to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

If you encounter a victim of slavery, you can refer them to the Salvation Army using their 24-hour helpline on 0300 3038151.

If you are worried about a child, call the NSPCC helpline 0808 800 5000.

Government support -Access referral and assessment forms to report potential victims of human trafficking or modern slavery and refer them to the national referral mechanism (NRM).
